Established in 1946 at Chettalli village in Kodagu district of Karnataka, this station is located in one of the major coffee-growing regions of India.
The station spans 131 hectares, with 80 hectares planted with coffee for conducting research experiments. It has a highly skilled scientific and technical staff and well-equipped laboratory facilities to pursue research across all major coffee disciplines.
